Javea, located on the Costa Blanca North offers a typical old Spanish coastal town to the north and a busy coastal holiday resort to the south, known as The Arenal. The old town has many private luxury villas in Javea located on the outskirts of town all within easy reach of the towns bars, restaurants and beach.

If it’s the traditional Spanish shops that you are after, the old part of the town will fulfil this need. Javea is well known for its fishing port in the old part of town and also its celebrity residents which you may see taking an evening stroll around the port area. By night the Arenal comes alive with street sellers and live music which brings a fantastic feel to the area.

There are a few select restaurants located a mile or so inland from the Arenal which if you have a hire car are easily accessible and worth a visit – the local tourist information office in the old town will be able to provide you with details of these.
