More of a comfortable family home than a 'wedding cake' villa, Django's Castle sleeps 10/12 with 2 doubles. 2 twins, 2 singles and 4 bathrooms. Two further beds can be made up in the big apartment lounge area.
The house was completed in 2002, built by a local builder to a high standard under the personal supervision of the architect owner. The house layout is ideal for family groups with two large air conditioned* bedrooms, a large self contained air conditioned* ground floor apartment with a lounge, shower room and two singles as well as a twin bedded air conditioned* pool house with full facilities. For comfort all the beds have mosquito nets. There are four seperate terrace areas including a large roof terrace for serious sun worshippers which enjoys cool summer breezes and a panoramic view.
There is plenty of space and privacy. (* aircon optional) The free solar heated pool (9m x 4m) is on the main floor level and has a safe shallow area for toddlers, a children's slide and an underwater pool light. There are gates to prevent toddlers getting poolside. The house is split level with terraces on the main level, including a sun shaded area next to the pool with a barbecue, planter, sun beds, chairs, sun umbrellas and a hammock.
The rear garden has a childrens swing, sand pit and a climbing frame. On ground floor level is an old well and sitting area. There is a roof sun terrace with panoramic views and sun beds, chairs and a table. There is plenty of car parking space.
GUEST COMMENTS:
Hi Chris, I just want to say thank you for the most wonderful holiday. We all had a ball at your home and are hoping to make it back next year. Once again thank you so much the boys adored your frogs and luckily you still have them all intact and alive as we all know what boys are like. Hopefully we will be seeing you soon. Kind regards, Niamh and family 12/10/09 17 June 2009
Dear Chris Jane and Alex Thank you for letting us stay in the beautiful Django's Castle. We have had a great time. We all will be happy to go home but we will definitely miss this place. We went to Slide and Splash and we also went to Zoomarine. They were both brill. Sincerely Niamh Carmel and family 9th May 2009
What a lovely home that you have at Django's Castle. The purpose of this holiday was to celebrate Margaret's 60th Birthday. We managed it in style. Every convenience was available to us as a family, friends and to accommodate our little one. Some of our party are visiting Portugal, Lagos for the first time. We found the villa to have super views, wonderful beaches, something for everyone. It's our first visit and we will most certainly come again. We appreciate your friendly and personal attentions. Nothing was too much trouble. Sincere wishes, Tony and party
