The village of Daya Vieja has bars, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery, hairdresser. The countryside is minutes away with orange and lemon trees in abundance. There are many local fiestas and paradess which are always colourful and exciting. There are many markets within easy reach. During the summer there is an open air cinema in the village plaza.
