Case Novole, which dates back to 1400, was built as a
traditional small farm hamlet, or borgo, closed in by
ancient stone walls, and lies in the Arezzo hills just
6 km. from the city centre. It comprises 3 units, a tower
(once a granary), ex-pig stalls, and the main residence.
The three structures have been meticulously re-structured
by the owner, Ilaria Occhini, into attractive living-quarters.
A rich collection of plants and flowers significantly
adds to its bucolic charm. Great attention has been paid
to every detail of the furnishing of the main residence,
and it is decorated throughout with ancient furniture.
