THE SUMMER HOUSE has beautiful timber-beamed rooms, and
a private secluded pool, set in spacious sub-tropical
gardens. The Summer House - so called, because it’s
where the owners used to spend their summers, before moving
back to the ‘big house’ - forms the West wing
of their large, traditional Portuguese country home. The
superb Summer House is a completely self-contained part
of the main house, with its own driveway, parking area,
and gate, leading to its own garden, pool and entrance
door. The Summer House has a wonderful tranquil countryside
setting where you can completely relax.
The Summer House is sunny and light, with comfortable
beds (kingsize double bed), ceiling fans, and plump sofas.
The house is surrounded by beautiful sub-tropical gardens
with many exotic plants and trees: pepper trees, mimosa,
carob and palms Patio doors open onto a covered terrace
which runs the length of the house, with four steps leading
up to the secluded plant-fringed pool, and sunbathing
deck. The pool is approximately 3.5 metres in diameter
and 90cms deep. It can be floodlit at night, and has a
poolside shower. Barbecue, patio furniture and sun loungers
are provided. The Summer House is the perfect place to
relax and restore your spirits.
