A beautiful, very private villa for a large party. Tres Mares is on a ridge with all-round views. The gardens cover an acre, high-walled, with two lawns and many established trees. The house is farmhouse-traditional, on a grand scale with wooden beams throughout. Off the impressive entrance hall, the Library/TV Room has a piano, Sky, VCR, and 4000 non-fiction books. The main Sitting Room is attractively sunken, with a TV and music centre. The Dining-Room is separate. The fully-equipped kitchen has seating for 10, plus utility rooms and shower-room for the domestic staff. Two bedroom suites are on the first floor, four are in a ground-floor wing well separated from living rooms. All are furnished as bed-sitting rooms. (Photos on request).

Outside are deeply covered terraces with many chairs and tables. The Pool Area is securely walled with complete privacy and includes a badminton/games court, kitchen (BBQ and cooker), bar, shower-room, covered seating in traditional tiling, and loungers. The tiled pool is 12 X 6 X 3 m.

Tres Mares is on the ridge of Matos Morenos, overlooking both Praia da Luz and Lagos, with magnificent ocean views from east to west. Tres Mares means Three Seas. To the north is the country of an older Algarve, with the Monchique hills in the distance. The new M-way finishes one km away, an hour from Faro.

There are excellent beaches in easy range, many restaurants in the old streets of Lagos, and Boavista Golf Course is 10 mins away. Within 20 mins are the great beaches of West Coast.
