Details

Almeria is the sunniest place in Europe, with 340 sunny days (Met Office figures) Throughout the year, once the sun is out, it's sunbathing weather. I've swum in my pool in Feb & so have many others. The villa is large, pool's big, grounds and gardens massive and all is very well equipped. If you wanted to, 30 could sit down to dine, in 4 areas. Tables are movable, for alfresco eating the BBQ room has additional fridge plus mosquito screens as do all windows.

Inside is light and airy, no air con required in day as all windows on all sides open fully for thru breeze, a solar panel provides lots of hot water. The villa is fully equipped for small children: stairgate for doorway, pool alarm, cots, booster seat for eating, baby monitor, bedguard, potty, toilet seat, pool toys & sunbeds galore for adults.

La Algarrobina is very secluded; villa is totally private & not overlooked, but golf club & restaurant 500 yds away can be reached on foot, or by private road. Beaches are 5+ mins away, fishing port of Garrucha 10 mins away, Mojacar Playa & Pueblo (ancient Moorish, fortified hilltop town with spectacular views from main square) 15 mins, Cuevas with Thurs Market, ancient hill fort & museum is 5 mins away, lovely sandy coves at San Juan de los Terreros 15 mins .Desert film studio 60 mins.

High quality UK imported double beds, large fitted wardrobes, stacks of hangers, bedside tables, lamps, good UK duvets & linen. Kitchen equipped for full-time habitation.

Visitors have found the directions PLUS map easy to follow. I have had positive comments about the privacy, secludedness, comfort, the promptness with which I deal with problems, as I have an excellent support network there. The ease and pleasure of shopping in Vera, the local markets and places of interest, but above all, the totally relaxed lifestyle it is possible to enjoy there, the almost unique nature of having two full double bedrooms with en suite & air con, so two pairs of adults can holiday with equal comfort, and the amount and quality of provision for small children.

A fresh set is provided for second week. please bring your own beach towels. the property is cleaned between visitors, so please vacate by 10 am and do not arrive before 3 pm as it is a large property to clean
