Montemar 13 is an air-conditioned semi-detached villa
with a veranda and balcony built in Spanish ‘Colonial’
style on the edge of a small development of similar properties.
The living area is open plan with sitting and dining
areas including a dining table and chairs, sofa and several
easy chairs. There is a separate well-equipped kitchen,
which leads to an outside utility area with washing machine
etc. Also on the ground floor level is a cloakroom and
shower room.
Upstairs is a double bedroom with patio doors to a balcony,
which overlooks the adjacent nature reserve, ideal for
enjoying a relaxing breakfast or evening drink in the
sun. In addition there are two twin bedded rooms and a
large bathroom with toilet, bidet, wash hand basin and
bath with shower. The ground floor and main bedroom are
air-conditioned and there are ventilation fans for cooling
in the other bedrooms.
Patio furniture is provided, including tables and chairs
for outside dining, and sun-loungers.
The villa has a private swimming pool together with an
outside shower. There is an established and well-tended
garden containing Jasmine, Bougainvillea, Oleander, etc
with several patio areas and a shaded pergola & decking
to escape the midday sun.
The property has a pleasant outlook facing an area of
open woodland and is a few minutes level walk to the excellent
sandy beach of Campoamor. The local beach has tapas bars
serving food and drink and facilities which include loungers
and sunshades, as well pedal and jet-ski hire and snorkeling.
Nearby, also within walking distance, are a yachting marina,
and riding stables Within a short drive there are three
championship golf courses.
Campoamor is a small, fairly quiet resort, the properties
in the area are owned and used by both Spanish and foreign
residents. Seasonally, there is a variety of local restaurants
and entertainment within walking distance.
Within a few minutes drive there are many more bars &
restaurants and entertainment facilities including a sports
centre and also a wide choice of shops and supermarkets.
The nearby town of Torrevieja has more shops, restaurants
and nightlife all year round as well as a huge weekly
market and a large ‘aqua park’. There is an
extensive weekly market, which appears in most of the
local towns at different times throughout the week.
