Casa do Cometa is situated on the quiet slopes above the village of Bordeira. It is in a quiet residential area close to the village which provides a local shop, bakery, cafes and restaurants. The villa stands in 1000 sq metres of mature, tended gardens with Palm, Olive, Almond, Pepper and Citrus trees.

There are lovely distant views of the Atlantic ocean from the private pool terrace which has seating and sun loungers provided. A car is essential and a covered parking area for 2 cars is situated within the garden near to the gates. Casa do Cometa is a mere 15 minutes drive from the airport, local beaches and the historic town of Faro.

The pretty market town of Sao Bras de Alportel is nearby and offers all the facilities of a modern town including a supermarket and a tourist information office. For the more energetic, the Algarve supports an abundance of golf courses, many of which are within an easy drive.

The maid visits twice weekly and all bedding, linen and towels (including pool towels) are provided. The preferred arrival and departure day is Wednesday. However, this can be negotiated at off peak times of the year.
