The Lauren
apartments were built in 2004-05 by Nicholas Homes. Our
apartment, Lauren 1, occupies the ground floor with a large
covered terrace area which overlooks the pool, and has beautiful
mountain and rural views, ideal for alfresco dining. Only
two apartments occupy this plot, giving a private, exclusive
feel, ideal for couples and families. Only a 10 minute stroll
from the lively but very friendly resort of hisaronu, and
10 minute dolmus ride to OluDeniz beach resort, the apartment
has the perfect location for a perfect holiday. The standards
of furnishing in the apartment is second to none, and is
equipped to give you a home from home in the sun.
THE TURQUOISE COAST is on the south west coast of Turkey.
It is a region of outstanding natural beauty, being very
green and mountainous. Lauren 1 apartment is set on a
plateau, 1000ft above sea level, the cooling breezes making
it more comfortable in the hot summer temperatures.
Ovacik is on the outskirts of the lively resort of Hisaronu
( 10 minutes walk ), and only 10 minutes by dolmus from
the breath-taking coastline of Olu Deniz. Fethiye is only
15 minutes by dolmus. This is a busy market town set on
a beautiful natural harbour. A great place to people watch.
The dolmus (minibus) is the cheapest and easiest way of
getting around. They can be caught on the main Fethiye-Hisaronu
road, just 5 minutes from the apartment.
Ovacik is a quiet, rural area just outside of Hisaronu.
There are several small supermarkets nearby for all food
essentials and several restaurants, but most of the nightlife
is found in the lively resort of Hisaronu. This is just
a 10 minute stroll away. Here you will find every type
of international cuisine, all cooked to high standards,
but costing very little. There are many bars here although
they are generally not rowdy.
Lauren 1 has a quality feel to it that will not go unmissed.
The kitchen is handmade pine with marble work tops, with
cupboards are well stocked with all the crocs and pots
you'll need. There is a large fridge freezer, a full cooker
with gas hob and a washing machine. The lounge has two
sofas, one of which can be pulled out into a large bed
for two. There is digital television with many English
speaking channels, a DVD player and a cd stereo. There
is a selection of DVDs and cds for the guests to enjoy.
The bedrooms, one double and one twin, have ample wardrobe
and cupboard space, and there is a hairdryer in each room.
Both the bathroom and shower room have floor to ceiling
ceramics. The large covered terrace area overlooks the
pool and has rural and mountain views all around. The
terrace is set up for alfresco dining and has a BBQ. From
the terrace you can step straight down to the pool area,
furnished with sunbeds and parasols. As the pool is only
shared with the upstairs apartment, it should never be
crowded, and you may even have it to yourselves on occasions.
There is also a children's pool. The apartment block is
surrounded by private landscaped gardens and has secured
parking spaces for two cars. Both the bedrooms and the
lounge has air conditioning which cool and heat the rooms
as required. Hot water is supplied by solar heating or
electric immersion.
The swimming pool is only available for use from 1st
May - 31st October. Note: Prices may be subject to change
at the owner's discretion.
Prices per week for parties of up to 4 persons.
Extra guests will be charged £15 per person per
week. Maximum 6 guests. The rental charge includes; Cleaning
and linen change twice a week. Use of air conditioning
A small welcome pack of food essentials for your arrival.
A representative to welcome you on arrival, and be on
hand if called on during your stay.
CANCELLATIONS: made 2-8 weeks before departure, 50% refund
will be given. Less than 2 weeks, no refund will be given.
A refundable breakages deposit of £200 is required
on arrival. This will be refunded at the end of your holiday,
less the cost of any damages. Minor breakages, i.e. the
odd glass, plate etc, will be overlooked.
Return airport transfers can be pre arranged by us at
a charge of £60 for parties of up to 4, or £15
per person for parties of 5 or more.
