The villa has a good sized sitting/dining room with open fire, Satellite TV, video and hi-fi, American style well equipped and recently refurbished kitchen, with cooker, microwave, washing machine etc., The master bedroom has it's own terrace and en-suite shower room. Two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is a Naya (enclosed outside terrace) which is ideal for eating al fresco. There is sunbathing around the pool. A newly constructed terrace with patio table and chairs and BBQ is ideal for eaing outside plus another terrace has sun loungers.
The town of Moraira was originally a fishing village, still now with fishing boats, but also enjoyed by many Europeans on holiday. Set in a valley running down to the sea, it has kept it's charm and feeling of a village community, and there is no high rise building as the majority or properties are privately owned villas. There are two beaches - one is in the town and the other one is at El Portet which a short drive from the town centre (it is also possible to walk to El Portet). Plus beaches in Javea & Calpe. Alicante airport is approx 1 hour away and Valencia one and a quarter hours. Mainly motorway driving to the villa.
A car is required as there is no public transport near the villa. It is however possible to hire a taxi from the town centre, approximately 10 minutes away. Ideal for hiring bikes though, as it is a level ride into town. Car hire can be organised on request. Calpe and Javea are 15/20 minutes, and Benidorm 25 minutes from the property.
There are many good restaurants and bars in the area, including Michelin guide rated and Michelin starred restaurants. Club Nautica in the heart of the marina is lovely for a relaxing lunch while watching the boats come and go. There are also a couple of night clubs. The area is idea for families as the town is quite small, very clean and the Spanish are very friendly. There is a small fair open most of the year, and in Benidorm there is the Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia Water Park and Mundomar Sealife Park.
Benidorm Palace is also worth a visit for an enjoyable night out. The local wine from the Jalon Valley is an absolute must do.
The nearest nine hole golf course is approx 7 minutes away, with 8 other courses within an hours drive from the villa. There is a tennis club in Moraira. Water bikes, peddalos etc. can be hired in the town centre and on the beach, and there is an International Go-Karting track suitable for all levels.
