Casa Helandria is situated in a pleasant location together with a few other villas at Vale Verde near Almancil. The sea is about 4 km away through the pinewoods and the villa is only 20 minutes drive from the airport at Faro.

There are 3 bedrooms, a lounge and dining area combined with the kitchen. It is set in a mature garden with its own private swimming pool and outside BBQ and eating areas. There are three bedrooms, all with twin beds. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the two other bedrooms share a bathroom and separate toilet. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space and drawer space.

The villa is set in a 1500 square metre garden with rockeries, Oleanders, Bougainvillea, Mimosa and some pine, fig and fruit trees. A wall of flowers surrounds the private tiled swimming pool (10 x 5 metres). There is a large barbecue built into this wall and a large sun patio with sun loungers, table and chairs. A shady pergola has a large tiled table with seating area which is ideal for outdoor eating.

The villa is almost exactly halfway between the golf courses of Val de Lobo (36 holes) and Quinta do Lago (36 holes). The courses of Sao Lourenco and Pinheiros Altos are also nearby. All these courses are of the highest quality. Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago have both hosted the Portuguese Open. Sao Lourenco is rated amongst the best courses in Europe and has spectacular views.

Virgilia, our maid, spends two hours every day from Monday to Friday cleaning, making beds and helping guests enjoy their holiday. There is a good supply of bed linen and towels, but please bring your own beach towels. Bookings can be taken from any day, except Sunday, for a minimum period of 3 days, subject to availability. In peak season the minimum period is 7 days.
