This stunning and spacious villa has its own grounds of about 12 acres situated in the foothills of the Monchique mountains, just south of the picturesque spa village of Caldas de Monchique. It is only a few minutes drive from junction 5 of the A22 motorway to Faro.

The villa is very secluded yet only walking distance from several nearby restaurants and craft shops. About 20 minutes by car takes you to Portimao with its big shopping centres and fishing port, or the beautiful beaches at Praia da Rocha and Alvor.

For golfers, the new Morgado course is only a short drive down the road and there are many others within easy reach.

Hi Alan Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at "Quinta Da Mimosa". The villa is absolutely fantastic and out lived our expectations. We stayed around the pool area far more than we anticipated and the children had a great time exploring the gardens, playing in the river and even with the goats in the evenings. The villa is ideally situated for day trips around the Algarve not that you have to leave the villa with the luxury that surrounds you. With the exception of the first 2 days which were overcast with the occasional light shower the weather was fantastic. We were also well served by Paula who is a credit to you, please pass on our sincere thanks to her. We all loved the Algarve but it was the villa that really made the holiday special. We would love to repeat the experience and will probably be in touch shortly to enquire for next year. We would have no hesitation in recommending your villa to people wishing to visit the Algarve. a very spacious open plan living room has two 3 piece suites, a wood burner and TV. there are four bedrooms sleeping 8+ people. two have en-suite facilities and three bedrooms have balconies. there are two more bathrooms. the separate dining room seats 8 and the kitchen has direct access to one of the patios, nearest to the pool.

there are two patios plus the private, gated swimming pool area and the large barbeque. there is a bubble pool with a waterfall into the main pool which is approximately 30 ft x 15 ft max. the villa is about 200 yards from the road down its own gravel driveway. beyond the immediate garden area, the house owns about 12 acres of natural countryside with a picturesque stream running though it

beach is more than 15 minutes drive, swimming pool, pet friendly, child friendly, ideal for families with teenagers, all hand, bath towels and bed linen are included, however please bring your own beach towels. the property is cleaned 5 days a week (4 when there are public holidays)
