Rhodes has a new town, with a busy harbour, a wide choice of restaurants, snack bars, etc., and a great variety of shops offering everything from local crafts to designer clothing. The Old Town is a must for all visitors -an ancient walled city that is still inhabited, it is always bustling with life in its ancient cobbled streets. Wandering through the narrow streets, you can see marvelous architecture, hunt for bargains among the many shops, or just soak up the atmosphere. Another 'must see' is the picturesque village of Lindos - quaint little village with narrow streets and white houses, lovely beaches and an ancient Acropolis.
