Casa das Figueiras is a charming Algarvean Villa with
3 Bedrooms. All bedrooms have beautifully hand-painted
features. There is 1 double bedroom with typical Alentejano
hand-painted furniture, air conditioning and ensuite bathroom.
2 uniquely decorated twin bedrooms (1 with ensuite shower).
1 separate family bathroom.
The fully equipped kitchen comprises, oven, hob, dishwasher,
fridge freezer, toaster and microwave. Laundry room with
washing machine. Iron and ironing board. The cosy living/dining
area with its rustic beams has a wood-burning stove, comfortable
sofas, satellite tv and hi-fi (bring your own cds). There
is air-conditioning for heating and cooling. Colourful
paintings and pottery add to the charm of this villa.
French windows lead from the living-room onto a shady
terrace overlooking a mature garden, a magnificent swimming
pool and distant sea views.
Maid service is twice weekly (high season), once (off
season). Bath towels are changed twice weekly. Bed linen
changed weekly. Please bring your own beach towels for
the pool area.
Welcome pack available on arrival (by arrangement) Baby-sitting
service also available - 8 euros per hour.

Sheila, Having just spent 8 wonderful relaxing days &
nights at Casa das Figueiras, i wish on behalf of our
group, to congratulate you for creating such an oasis
of tranquility away from the maelstrom which is 'real
life'. We all said it was one of the best holidays any
of us could remember. The villa itself provided rustic
homeliness with an individual charm. Its location is ideal
for that get away from it all feeling. The pool was stunning.
With four dining areas outside and one inside we were
spoilt for choice, in the end we dined in them all. The
garden was superb. It ticked all the boxes and we could
not of asked for anything more. we hope to return in 2007.

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was in such a beautiful, peaceful location that we relaxed instantly. We would have liked to have stayed for another week! We had great walks and took a stroll down the road beside the house and a local woman came out to us and walked us back up the road talking all the time and we hadn't a clue what she was saying a pity. Casa das Figueiras was wonderful. The setting is superb - so quiet and private and totally relaxing. The house and garden are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. We really enjoyed foraging for wood and reading in front of the fire of an evening after a day's walking or at the beach. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. "Roses in the algarve!!! and of course, bougainvillea, oleander and jasmine, etc. All these surrounding the swimming pool in the glorious gardens Casa das Figueiras. The villa overlooks natural fields nestled within the peaceful countryside of the Algarve. Over the years, I've studied many a script and learned a few new songs in the peace of this delightful villa.
