Finding the right property:
There are many different ways to find the right property and we hope that our search facilities and categorisation of properties will assist you in doing so. Search our properties by Country, Area, Resort or Town and also by the number of bedrooms and facilities offered. The more specific you are in your search criteria, the less options you'll have to choose from. In general the rates shown on each property page are based on "per property/ per week" prices, unless otherwise stated on the advert.

Making an enquiry:
All enquiries are made using the online enquiry form or telephone number associated with each holiday home advert. All enquiries go direct to the owner. If making contact via the telephone, please mention Villa-Holiday.co.uk to receive the best rates. If you would like to make an online enquiry, click contact owner and select online enquiry. The owner will then either contact you by phone or email, whichever method you prefer. The check availability button on each property page will give you real-time availability information which could help you decide upon the dates to which you want to enquire. Remember to ask the owners lots of questions about their property or surrounding locations - remember that the owner has purchased a home here and so is the best person to ask!

Booking your accommodation:
Once you have decided which villa or apartment you want to book, the owners will require a deposit to hold the booking which can vary between 10% and 50% of the total booking value. Before you pay your deposit, make sure you have seen the owners booking and cancellation terms and conditions so that you are clear what is expected. Most owners will ask for payment to be made via a cheque or direct bank transfer, however some have the facilities to accept credit cards using online services such as Paypal™. You should always have postal address, email and telephone contact details for the owner should you wish to contact them at any time. Most owners require the balance of your booking approx. 8-10 weeks prior to your arrival date, again this can usually be paid by cheque, bank transfer or credit card. At this time, the owner will request a damage/security deposit of around £50-£100 per each week of your stay. This deposit is held by the owner in case of any breakages and will be returned in full after your holiday provided that nothing requires replacing. One last thing to confirm with the owner is that everything is included - items not included maybe air-conditioning, heating, pool heating etc. Within a few days of paying the full balance the owner will supply you with details for getting to the villa or apartment and any other relevant information, for example, how to pickup the keys etc.
REMEMBER TO GET ADEQUATE HOLIDAY INSURANCE FOR ALL TRAVELLERS - See our Holiday Insurance page for help finding great insurance deals.

On Holiday:
When you arrive in the country or resort you will need to follow the instructions given by the owner on how to find your holiday accommodation and how to obtain the keys. Some owners use local management companies or have arrangements with local hotels to perform the key hand-over. If you have any problems while you are on holiday, use the details given to you by the owner to solve them. The owner will either give you a local contact or mobile number for themselves should you need to contact them in an emergency. Please report anything you are not happy with to the relevant person/s as soon as you discover them, do not wait until you get home as most things can be resolved quickly so as not to spoil your holiday.

Concerns and Help:
If you have any concerns or need help with anything during the booking process, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do everything we can to help. Please remember that the booking is between yourselves and the owner and as such you are responsible for this.
