Once at
the Canary Islands, you would be tempted to see the most of these
exotic islands. As such it is advisable to make prior reservations
with car rental companies so that you do not face any problem
during your holiday. In many scenarios, the hotel or resort you
choose to live in will provide for car rental services. However,
it’s important to know that these services will come at
an extra cost because of additional service charges as per hotel
tariffs.
If you choose to use independent
car rental services, make sure that you know what the current
rental rates are. This helps you choose wisely and reduces the
risks of being taken for a ride in a new place. Car hire in the
Canary Islands is a necessity if you wish to check out the different
sightseeing options, apart from simply being able t commute through
the islands. If you choose to visit the Gran Canaria, you are
required to opt for car hire in the Canary Islands. You would
be driving south from Las Palmas and arriving at the city of Telde
at first.
You could also stop at
the San Juan district and could get off the car and opt to walk
through the characteristic narrow cobbled streets of the uptown
area of Santa María La Antigua, also referred to as the
San Francisco district. You could also go through the GC-1 motorway
to the towns of Ingenio, Agüimes and Santa Lucía.
Visit the Playa del Ingles area and Maspalomas. Also visit the
lighthouse and La Charca. The attractive port Puerto de Mogán
also awaits you. You could move to the La Aldea de San Nicolás
area as well. Visit the historic centre of Gáldar, the
Cenobio de Valerón and the church of Arucas.
