Shopping in the Canary Islands

The Atlantico shopping mall is fairly new. It is situated in the Vecendario and is roughly 15 minutes from Maspalomas. It houses many world brands. This includes Zara, Jack & Jones, Vera Moda, Mango and others. The mall is reputed to offer competitive prices that are fairly reasonable, especially over a around Christmas. In here you could get your hands on the latest fashion, music home appliances, pets, and let’s just say, you name it and you would find it. It also houses a cinema and a small number of restaurants. You could reach here via the GC1 highway from Maspalomas and find it on your left.

The C.C Yumbo shopping mall is assumed to be the largest shopping center in Maspalmos. It houses numerous restaurants and shops. However the mall is not very good as a shopping stop-over. In addition prices here are high. Always compare prices offered at other stores prior to purchasing from here lest you be fooled into paying higher prices.

The Cita mall isn't too special in shopping terms but has interesting architecture. You may not find much to buy here as it does not store anything special. The Kasbah shopping mall is smaller but a great place to shop. Though it doesn't house too many shops, there’s plenty you can find here. You could visit the Toro Negro restaurant and also look for electronics here. At the Metro shopping center you could look for regular things you have listed I your shopping list. The Plaza shopping mall has a basement with great stores. The San Fernando shopping mall is worth a mention and boasts of in house prices that are low. You could visit the local market in Maspalomas on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
